Electricity was out for Gardnerville Ranchos customers of NV Energy for about 90 minutes on Tuesday night.
The power was out from 9:30 to about 11 p.m., according to one resident, who lives on Amarillo Drive.
According to NVEnergy spokesman Karl Walquist, the outage affected 30 residents on four streets, including Amarillo, Azul Way, Colorado Court and Violetta Circle.
A fuse on the power like blew out and had to be replaced, Walquist said.
"We're not sure why the fuse failed," he said. There was no particular demand on power at that time. Walquist said the company serves 300,000 customers.
