The Lord/Quinn Duo continues in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Monday and Tina & the Tune-Ups take the stage Aug. 4-9.
Lord/Quinn is Stephen Lord on guitar and vocals and Tony Quinn on guitar, keyboards and vocals. The duo have a 1,000-song repertoire of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.
Tina & the Tune-Ups perform a costumed tribute to the '50s and '60s. Strong vocals, a hard-driving rhythm section, a little slapstick and meticulous musicianship have become this band's trademarks. The group features Tina Fink on keyboards and lead vocals, Ray Rodarte on guitar and vocals, Gary Setzer on drums and Dave Edwards on bass.
