Boys & Girls help

Once a year the Carson Valley Boys & Girls Club asks our community for donations. The club is open for school-age children after school during the school year and all day weekdays during the summer. Currently we are at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, with hopes to expand when we can afford it. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to creating an affordable, positive, fun place for kids to hang out. We rely on donations from our community to keep our club running. If everyone who reads this would donate $1, $5, $20 - whatever you can handle - it will go a long way toward helping us keep afloat.

As I watched my children grow up in Carson Valley, I saw a lot of kids who needed a place to hang out. I feel our entire community needs to get behind the Boys & Girls Club so that there will be a safe, fun place for children. We have been open for just under two years and have made great progress. The latest exciting news is the addition of Shannon Harris as our site director - if you know her, you know she will take great care of the kids.
