The Dakota Organization presents the Northern Nevada premiere of "Rabbit Hole," June 19 through June 28, at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
The 2007 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by David Lindsey-Abaire has been performed on Broadway with Cynthia Nixon in the starring role. Actress Nicole Kidman has purchased the movie rights "Rabbit Hole."
"Rabbit Hole" is the story of Becca and Howie Corbett, who have everything a family could want until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside-down. The play charts their search for a path to lead them to the light of day. Playwright Lindsey-Abaire awakens every human emotion leaving his audience vulnerable, reflective, and moved.
Performances are 8 p.m. June 19, 20, 26 and 27 and 2 p.m. June 20, 27 and 28 at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Ave. in Minden.
Tickets are $15 or $10 for seniors over 60 and students. Tickets are $18 and $13 for the opening night performance on June 19, which includes an after-show champagne reception. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
