Highway 395 reopened at 4:45 p.m. after a single vehicle rollover injured three people near the top of Jake's Hill south of Gardnerville.

Ambulance helicopters landed on the highway to transport two victims of the accident, while a third was transported by East Fork ambulance.

The highway was closed for about a half-hour as rescuers attended to the Jeep's occupants.

The original report came in at 3:50 p.m. The vehicle rolled multiple times landing on the embankment above the highway.

The driver was reported pinned in the vehicle, and the door had to be pried open. The two passengers had climbed out of the wreckage and were ambulatory when rescuers arrived.

Jake's Hill is located where Highway 395 enters the Pine Nut Mountains above Ruhenstroth.
