As of 5:30 a.m. the Pony Express re-ride is 15 miles east of Dayton heading toward Dayton State Park. The pony is running about three hours late, which means it won't be arriving in Carson City until around 9 a.m., unless something really kicks in over the next few hours. At that rate, the rider won't be in Genoa until 11 a.m. today, but we'll continue to post updates on where the rider is along the route.
