Minden resident Johnnie E. Taylor Jr., 72, died Feb. 27, 2009.
Born June 15, 1936, in Seneca, Mo., to Johnnie and Dorothy Taylor, he loved working, running and sharing his model trains. He also loved bowling, having rolled his first 300 game at age 71.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Dick Chambers and sister Billy Brown.
Mr. Taylor is survived his wife, LaWanda, together for 55 years and married for 52 years; sons Bob (Maggie), John Scott (Beth), and James (Bonnie); grandchildren Jocelyn, Katie, Tani, Derren; in-laws Ray and Lillie Allen; brothers and sisters-in-law Howard Thomas, Lynda Shaffer, Gary and Dale Allen great-granddaughter Sydni.
