at Buckaroos

n The Rustlers play 8 p.m. to midnight tonight. The Rustlers cover hard-core country music by Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bently. The Carson City-based band is Ev Musselman on guitar and lead vocals, Larry Goldman on bass guitar and vocals, Brian Williams on lead guitar and vocals, Jim Park on pedal steel guitar and Russ Hohenberger on drums and vocals.

'Island' musical at Pau-Wa-Lu

Performances of the All-City musical, "Once on This Island Jr.," are 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, 701 Long Valley Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and $6 for children 10 and younger.

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

American Made continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Sunday and Lord/Quinn plays March 9-16.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

American Made plays American music from the 1940s to the present, including rock, oldies, classic rock, R&B, country and big band swing. The group features Sharon Wyner on vocals and keyboards, Nat Wyner on vocals, electric violin, guitar and mandolin; Jeff Sadie on lead guitar and vocals and Jerry Stollman on drums and vocals.

Lord/Quinn is Stephen Lord on guitar and vocals and Tony Quinn on guitar, keyboards and vocals. The duo have a 1,000-song repertoire of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.
