We want to congratulate our Silver Spirit All-Stars youth squad for becoming two-time Jamz National Champions. We also want to congratulate our senior squad on their first-place win and Jamz National Championship title. We are also very proud of our mini squad for placing second in their division.

Dopplegangers Bar and Grill in Carson City is planning a celebration for all of our squads. Our girls wear their championship jackets with pride. They love being a part of such an elite group of athletes. We could not become national champions without the dedication and commitment of all of our members, coaching staff, parents and sponsors. Silver Spirit All-Stars have definitely put the Carson Valley on the map as true contenders in all-star cheer.

We are looking forward to another trip to Las Vegas in April where our youth squad won a paid bid earlier this year to America's Best National Championship. Our senior squad is excited about a trip to Los Angeles in April where they won a bid to a national championship. Our mini squad will finish the season this month in Sacramento. Our mini squad will also be performing at the Town of Genoa's St. Patrick's Day pot luck dinner on March 17.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors who have made this season possible. There are a lot of families struggling to make ends meet and without the generosity of our sponsors, several of our girls would be unable to participate in this incredible sport. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a girl or would like to make a donation, please call Amy or Paige at (775) 78-Cheer.

We are now registering for our 2009-10 season for girls and boys ages 5-19. There are no tryouts so if anyone ever dreamed of being a cheerleader we will give them all the coaching and confidence necessary to become an all-star. We also have noncompetitive cheer, dance and tumbling classes available. Call 782-4337 for information.

Thank you for all of your support throughout our seasons. The cheerleaders, co-owner Paige Young and I appreciate all that you do for us.
