Pasture golf
The Antelope Valley Lions Club's ninth annual Cow Pasture Golf Tournament is April 4. Sign-up is 8-9 a.m. at Baldo Giorgi ranch, located one mile east of Highway 395 on Topaz Lane in Topaz, Calif.
Cost is $25 per person or $15 for barbecue ribs or chicken lunch only.

'Hollywood Arms'
Carson Valley Community Theatre presents the Broadway play, "Hollywood Arms," at the CVIC Hall in downtown Minden.
The comedic drama was written by Carol Burnett and daughter Carrie Hamilton and is based on Burnett's 1986 memoir, "One More Time."
Performances are 7 p.m. April 10, 11, 17 and 18; at 5 p.m. April 12 and 2 p.m. April 19. Tickets are $15 general, $12 students and seniors. Group sales, $10. Sertoma's 17th annual Carson Valley Chili Cookoff & Craft Fair is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 25 and 26 at the Carson Valley Inn between the gas station and casino. Free admission.
