'Annoyance!'

The Dakota Organization's production of the adult comedy "Annoyance!" by Sam Bobrick plays at the Carson Valley Inn through Sunday.

Performances are 6:30 p.m. dinner shows today and Saturday, $45 general, $40 seniors 60-plus and at 11:30 a.m. Sunday champagne brunch show, $45 general, $40 seniors.

Equine clinic and tack sale

The ninth annual Douglas County Sheriff's Mounted Posse spring equine clinic and tack, horse and trailer sale is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Yard sale

The Carson Valley Xtreme girls soccer team yard sale is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Carson Valley Middle School parking lot. Furniture, skis, sporting and household goods, clothes and luggage are on sale to raise money for soccer tournaments. Information, Martha, 901-6343.


Adoption event

Douglas Animal Welfare Group sponsors a dog adoption event 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Petco at Topsy Lane and Highway 395. Singer at Unity Church of Today

AARP driver safety

The AARP senior driver safety class sponsored by the Carson Valley Medical Center is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m April 4 at the Carson Valley Medical Center, 1107 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Class is in the second-floor conference room of the administration building. An elevator is available.

Class fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers, payable at start of class. Required preregistration at Ann Marie, 786-3509. Those who complete the course may be eligible for auto insurance discounts. Bring a pen or pencil. Class is taught by Irv Phillips, 782-4385.
