Power Play continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Monday and the Red Hot Smokin' Aces play March 24-29.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

Power Play is Sean and Cindy South performing the classic rock and pop sounds of the '70s and '80s. Both vocalists, Sean plays lead electric and acoustic guitar and Cindy joins in on keyboards and acoustic guitar.

The Red Hot Smokin' Aces play country and oldies to pop chart hits " from Gretchen Wilson to Stevie Wonder and Merle Haggard to Roy Orbison. The heart of band is father/daughter Jeffrey and Ileia who collectively have toured the northwest for more than 40 years.

'Hollywood Arms'

Carson Valley Community Theatre presents the Broadway play, "Hollywood Arms," at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

The comedic drama was written by Carol Burnett and daughter Carrie Hamilton and is based on Burnett's 1986 memoir, "One More Time."
