A memorial service is noon Sunday at the Dresslerville Community Center for Sandra P. Wilkinson, 71, who died March 16, 2009, at her home in Dresslerville.
Mrs. Wilkinson was born March 21, 1937, in Schurz to Mamo and Isabelle Snooks. She moved to Dresslerville in 1984 from Pine Grove, Calif.
She enjoyed hand game, bead work and going to pow wows. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wilkinson, who died in 2004.
She is survived by a son, Eugene Wilkinson Jr. and his wife, Shawmalea of Hoopa, Calif.; two daughters, Tamara Teller and Victoria Wilkinson both of Gardnerville; brothers, John Snooks of Gardnerville and Wesley Barber of Nevada; sister, Diane Marks of Jackson, Calif., seven grandchildren: Jessica Barnes, Daniel McDonald, Sunshine Wilkinson, Angeleque Wright, Joseph McDonald, Destinee Wilkinson and Eugene Wilkinson III and three great-grandchildren.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is handling her final arrangements.
