A 48-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man was arrested Sunday and held on $100,000 bail, charged with sexual assault.
Charles Eugene Nielsen was arrested after Douglas County sheriff's deputies were called to his home shortly before 3 a.m.
He was accused of improperly touching the victim.
Kris Brown was appointed to represent Nielsen who is set for a hearing Wednesday in East Fork Justice Court.
