There was little that Stephanie Harper didn't do for the Douglas softball team Saturday.

Aside from striking out 16 batters in 14 innings of work, she also doubled, homered and drove in three runs in 3-2 and 6-0 wins over Fallon in Minden.

The wins pushed Douglas to 2-1 in Sierra League play for the year and 4-5 overall.

Douglas got things going early in game one as Harper singled to score Katrina Morgan and Marina Diaz drew a bases-loaded walk to score Morgan Blomstrom for a 2-0 lead.

Mia Townsell kept things going in the bottom of the second with a single. Emily Weaver hit a sacrifice bunt to move Townsell over and she scored on a single from Morgan.

Fallon rallied in the sixth, loading the bases on a walk and two errors and bring two runs across on sacrifices.

Douglas clamped down to pick up the win and cruised to the game two victory.

Morgan singled to score Weaver in the bottom of the firs and Harper doubled to score Blomstrom in the bottom of the third for a 2-0 lead.

Douglas stretched it to 5-0 in the bottom of the fourth when Weaver singled to score Diaz and Maddy Gilbert singled to score Townsell and Weaver.

Harper hit a solo shot in the bottom of the fifth to cap the scoring.
