Nearly 2 feet of snow fell at Heavenly during Saturday night's storm. Weather watchers reported 16-23 inches of snow on the resort above Carson Valley. We were closer to the 5 inch ranch for the whole show, which isn't bad for the end of March. The measurement of the snow pack officially wraps up on April 1.

An older Indian Hills couple, who admitted slinging methamphetamine back in January, are due for sentencing this morning in Douglas District Court. Maude Cox, 51, and Kevin Cox, 47, are due in Judge Michael Gibbons' court this morning. Maude admitted a count of trafficking in a controlled substance and faces up to six years. Her husband pleaded to one count of conspiracy and faces five years.

It will be cool today, with a high of 46 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The high temperatures will be back up into the 60s by Friday, when spring will be back in earnest. There's a slight chance of showers on Wednesday night.
