For the second time in three weeks, the Douglas High School baseball team dropped McQueen by enacting the 10-run mercy rule on the Lancers.

Tim Rudnick drove in five runs, going 2-for-4 with a double at the plate, and picked up the win on the mound, striking out two and walking none in three innings of relief work.
Tyler May went 3-for-4 with an RBI at the plate, Brett Anderson went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Jeff Crozier doubled and tripled, driving in four runs of his own.
Kameron Van Winkle had a pair of hits and Tyler Hoelzen, Troy Torres and Michael Whalin each drove in a run.
Douglas improved to 7-2 on the year with the win and will host McQueen Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
