Five contestants will compete for Miss Douglas County 2009 during the pageant at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Four contestants will vie for the title of Miss Carson City 2009.
The Miss Douglas County and the Miss Carson City scholarship programs will hold a joint pageant at Capital Christian Center, 1600 Snyder Lane in Carson City. Tickets are $15 at the door, $12 in advance. Program books are $8 or $5 in advance.
There will be a booth set up for the younger girls to get their pictures taken. For more information, contact Shauna Bartshe at 230-3745.
The Miss Carson City and Miss Douglas County scholarship programs are preliminary pageants to the Miss Nevada and Miss America programs.
