The Douglas High boy's golf team took third at the Sierra League Tournament at Wolf Run Golf Course on Thursday.
Junior standout Thomas Wicker won the tournament, shooting a 4-under 28 with two eagles and a front-nine score of 32.
The Tigers shot a team score of 412, finishing behind Manogue (398) and Carson (415), as senior Eric Guzman shot an 80, Sky Hackler shot a 91, Christian Neilander shot a 91 and Logan McNeil shot a 91.
"I am extremely pleased with the way everyone on the team played," Douglas coach Brent Eddy said. "Thomas had his career-low round as a varsity golfer.
"I knew he was capable of a round in the 60s, he just needed to have a day when he was working on all cylinders. Today he putted extremely well, hit the ball well and had the breaks he needed to score well."
Hackler, McNeil and Neilander all came in with career lows as well.
"This was a great way to start our league play as we see what we can do against the other teams in our division," Eddy said.
