Stephanie Harper threw a no-hitter at Wooster Tuesday afternoon, striking out seven and walking only one as she fell just a walk short of a perfect game. Douglas cruised to the 11-0 win.
She also doubled and drove in three runs while going 3-for-4 at the plate to help her own effort.
Mia Townsell and Emily Weaver each drove in a pair of runs and Mackenzie Cauley and Maddy Gilbert each drove in one as Douglas improved to 18-12 overall and 14-4 in league play.
The Tigers can automatically clinch the Sierra League title with two wins this week against Carson.
