Gardnerville resident Vanessa Littrell plays a concert at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in a CD release party for her new disc "Relinquish," 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The first half of the program is Littrell singing and playing piano to her original compositions. She describes her style of music as a cross between Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos and Joni Mitchell.
The second half of the program features personnel of her band, Moving Picture Show " Nate Littrell on bass, Tim Moreno on drums and Vanessa Littrell on guitar and vocals.
The Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall is at 449 W. King St., Carson City. Doors open at 7 p.m., concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
General admission $15, $12 for students, seniors and BAC members and $45 for a family up to five members. Tickets at www.breweryarts.org or the BAC box office. The "Relinquish" CD will be on sale at the concert for $15.
