A man who is accused to trying to intimidate a witness in the marijuana sales case against him faces arraignment today in Douglas County District Court. Russell F. Tillack. In a plea agreement, the 51-year-old is expected to plead guilty to two counts of marijuana sales, in exchange for getting the intimidation charge dropped.

The community assement listening sessions continue this morning starting at 8:15 a.m. in Minden discussing public safety. Financial institutions and arts and culture are next up this morning. All three will be at the Copeland Building. This afternoon, the listening sessions hit the road, going to Indian Hills at 3:45 p.m., Genoa at 6:30 p.m. and meeting with the ranchers at 7:45 p.m. at the Genoa Town Hall.

The weather will continue sunny, but breezier today. The high will hit 72 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The wind will blow 10-15 mph during the day today. Once it calms down, the heat will start to build, cracking 90 by Sunday and continuing to warm as the week continues.
