Cruising hangout

The Valley Cruisers Car Club host a car show hangout, 4-7 p.m. Saturday, at the Tillman Center at the corner of Kimmerling Road and Tillman Lane in the Gardnerville Ranchos. Barn dance at Country Club

The Rompin' Stompin' Bar-B-Q and Barn Dance with music by Foothill Road & the Hitchhikers is 6 p.m. Sunday at the Carson Valley Country Club.

A barbecue menu and full service bar are offered outside the restaurant facing the golf course. Foothill Road & The Hitchikers play rock to country. The band is Buz Bosie on guitar and vocals, Doug Lubushkin on guitar and vocals, Jeff Blair on bass and vocals and Chris Ericsson on drums.

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Hindsight continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, Naked City plays Monday, the Trey Stone Duo plays May 26-31.

Northern Nevada band Hindsight plays rhythm and blues, classic rock 'n roll and pop music. The group is led by keyboardist and sax virtuoso Larry Waller and features Adina Pearl on vocals, Terry Caldwell on guitar, Leonardo Fields on bass and Derrick Autry on drums.

Trey Stone on guitar and vocals and Rocky Sleight on keyboards and vocals complement each other as they perform a variety of pop, soul and jazz performing as the Trey Stone Duo. Trey has toured with Tower of Power and has appeared on "Saturday Night Live," "David Sanborn's Night Music" and MTV's "Rock in Rio." Rocky has lived in and performed around Northern Nevada for more than 25 years. He arranges the music for the Trey Stone Duo and has performed with the Coasters, Drifters, Dolly Parton and others.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Music at Copeland ArtBar

Flamenco guitarists Martin & Vargas play 7-9 p.m. tonight, in the ArtBar at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden.
