Douglas reliever Tim Rudnick came into the game in the top of the fourth.
Note: Douglas has been charged with two errors in the game, running their total for the tournament to seven.
Gorman scored three runs in the top half of the first inning on three hits and a Douglas error.
Gorman righty Stephen Manthei (9-1 on the year with a 1.73 ERA and 76 strikeouts) sat the Tigers down in order in the bottom half of the first and had a no-hitting going through three innings.
The winner of this game will play for the state title Saturday morning while the loser will have to fight for survival in the 6 p.m. game tonight against the Green Valley-Cimarron winner.
