Car accident closes Highway 88 in south end of Valley

A helicopter is being called in for a car accident that occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 88 and Fairview Lane.

Reports indicate at least one person was seriously injured in the accident.

Highway 88 is being temporarily shut down as emergency personnel work the scene.
