The 10-acre Spring Valley fire is quiet this afternoon as firefighters mop up the area just north of Double Spring Flat.

By Sunday morning firefighters had a line 80 percent around the fire and were busy dousing hot spots.
Personnel on scene had decreased to two hand crews and three engines. The home in the vicinity of the fire was unharmed.
Firefighters from the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, East Fork Fire District and the Nevada Division of Forestry responded to the blaze.
Firefighters may have more fires on their hands on Memorial Day, according to the National Weather Service, though the chance of additional lightning has decreased slightly.
Forecasters are calling for a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms through Saturday.
