Third accident in two hours at Tahoe

The third accident in two hours has been reported in at Lake Tahoe in Douglas County.

A motorcycle was reported down at 3 p.m. in front of Sam's on Highway 50. The motorcyclist is reported to be concious and breathing. At least one lane of the highway was closed while the accident was cleaned up.

It's the third accident Douglas County Sheriff's deputies and Nevada Highway Patrol troopers have responded to since 1:30 p.m. today.

The first accident occured at Highway 50 and Elks Point Road and was reported as an injury accident.

A second accident happened less than 20 minutes later at Kingsbury Grade and Palisades, where a bicyclist left the road and was injured.

The bicyclist was injured on his way into work.
