A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Gardnerville resident Sheila Jean McKinley, 70, who died Oct. 17, 2009, at home.
Born April 25, 1939, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to John Max and Odessa (Wike) Cazier, she grew up in southern Idaho where her family owned a small farm.
She married husband Edra S. McKinley on Feb. 7, 1958.
The couple moved to Gardnerville from the Seattle area in 1994.
Among her survivors are her husband of 51 years; son Eddy McKinley of Carson City; daughter Gail McKichan of Silver Springs; brother Ken Cazier of Twin Falls, Idaho; sister Delores Liebrant of Seattle, Wash., and one grandchild.
