'Nutcracker' in Carson
Pinkerton Ballet Theatre presents their 21st annual production of "The Nutcracker" ballet on Thanksgiving weekend at the Carson City Community Center. Performances are 7 p.m. Nov. 27 and 28, and 2 p.m. Nov. 29. Cowboys Christmas
Tickets on sale for two concerts of "Christmas in the Sierra" by David John and the Comstock Cowboys, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 19, at the Genoa Town Hall. Cost is $27 for dinner and concert, and $15 for concert only. Dinner of chili, baked potatoes and soft drink at 6:30-7:30 p.m. No-host bar.
