The Nov. 3 election is about 100 votes away from the final tally, election officials announced Friday. The board race for the Lake Tahoe Unified School District, with candidate Judy Cefalu leading 11 votes ahead of incumbent Duane Wallace, is the only race that could be affected by the final results.
It appears Measure B will not pass, even if the 100 remaining votes are in favor of the measure that would temporarily shift bike trail maintenance funds to repair Little League fields.
The leaders in the community college and utility district board races remain unchanged.
County recorder-clerk Bill Schultz said the final results, including absentee and unverified mail-in ballots, may be announced by Friday, Nov. 13.
