Douglas County is accepting applications for eight volunteer advisory committees from the planning commission to the wildlife board.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 18, with appointments made at the commissioners' Jan. 7 meeting.
All applicants must be Douglas County residents. Other requirements vary according to the board.
Appointments are to be made to the 911 Surcharge Advisory Committee, Airport Advisory Committee, Board of Equalization, Genoa Historic District Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission, Senior Services Advisory Council, Douglas County Board to Manage Wildlife.
