Firefighters knocked down a fire in a metal building on the Sleeping Elephant Ranch across from Topaz Ranch Estates.
The fire was reported at about 11:40 a.m. South County firefighters responded to the blaze from outside the building.
The fire was knocked down by 11:50 a.m. The fire did not spread to surrounding brush.
Firefighters onscene said mopping up the fire will be substantial.
