Recognizing the holidays are the year's busiest and often most stressful time, especially for women in business, eWomenNetwork offers its fourth annual Business Women's Holiday Extravaganza and fundraiser 5-10 p.m. Friday at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, 3800 S. Virginia St., Reno.

Doors open for shopping and informal networking at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $45 for eWomenNetwork members, $55 for nonmembers and includes dinner. Tickets are $65 at door and for late registration beginning Nov. 16.

Register at www.ewomennetwork.com or 853-2120. Men are welcome to attend.

Holiday gifts from local women vendors will be available in the eWomen holiday expo, including candles, jewelry, vintage handbags and accessories, luggage, handmade wool scarves, hats and jackets, handmade clothing and accessories, beauty products and green products.

The Reno Photo Booth Co. will be available for guests to take holiday photos. A foundation raffle includes opportunities to win holiday gift packages. Donations benefit eWomen's local foundation serving women and children in need.

Entertainment includes Carson Valley comedian Kat Simmons, winner of this year's International eWomenNetwork's Got Talent competition in Dallas. Simmons has appeared on Fox's Comedy Tonight and at the Comedy Club and the Improv. She is known for her hilarious insights into the female psyche, aging and women's issues.

Local singer Schall Adams also performs rocking and soulful blues sounds with the Schall Adams Band.

The evening will include eWomenNetwork's Accelerated Networking designed to help build relationships with women representing an array of businesses.
