The Carson Valley Art Association scholarship benefit show on Nov. 6-8 was supported by businesses and individuals that donated raffle prizes, those who bought the raffle tickets and the Carson Valley Photo Club, whose members entered about 30 photos in the show.
The show makes it possible for the Carson Valley Art Association to award scholarships to graduating art students from Douglas and Whittell high schools, who may apply in spring.
The scholarship benefit show was judged by Diane Divelbess, retired chair of the art department at Cal Poly Pomona.
