Today's a half day for the county's public schools. Students will be out of class for Thursday and Friday's Thanksgiving break. The schools aren't the only thing closing over the next two days. Federal, state and county offices will be closed. Banks and the post office will definitely be closed on Thursday. If you've got official business, conduct it today.
The weather report for travel to Grandma's House is sunny over the mountains, with a light breeze through the woods. The high today is supposed to hit 55 degrees, and on Thanksgiving Day, 59 degrees. Perfect for tossing the old pigskin around. The trip back will only be a little more sketchy with a slight chance of snow showers on Friday and Saturday.
