Carson tree lot opens Friday

A Christmas tree lot benefits the youth group of Freedom Church in Carson City. The lot will have 200 trees delivered from Oregon which opens Dec. 4. The hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

It is nonprofit run by volunteers and they are also collecting stockings and stocking-stuffers for kids at Empire Elementary School. The tree lot is the main drop-off point for the stocking stuffers, etc. Information, TJ Plummer, 720-9158.
