Taxing everyone

How can any of you liberals support this administration? Have you not heard anything about the health bills that are before our House and Senate? Or maybe you don't care because at least it's not that terrible Bush administration.

Thanks to derby backers

Prayers answered a bit

If you read my letter published Oct. 2, it's obvious that I was frustrated and a bit confused by the situation that my family now faces with my daughter's epilepsy battle, our home foreclosure, and my being out of work. We are not out of the woods by a long shot, but I feel that I should share some of the events that have taken place since:

Deconstructing the motocross park debate

It's for the children. It's obviously the only event that all families can enjoy together and it must be in a convenient location for these families, never mind the surrounding neighborhoods, parents who cannot otherwise control their unruly children, and children who lack the creativity to find other things to do in this glorious country setting, need this. And, it's not feasible to delay gratification; they must have this park now, in your backyard. So, do go out there and have fun with the families. You were invited, presumably at the expense of the motocross organizers. You'll feel good. And by all means, be tolerant.
