Delores Jean (Bossert) Duckett

A graveside service is today at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City for Minden resident Delores Jean (Bossert) Duckett, 78, who died Oct. 1, 2009, after a long struggle with lung disease.

Born Oct. 30, 1931, in Fort Yates, N.D., to Pauline (Walthers) Bossert and Gust Bossert, she married Arlie J. 'A.J.' Duckett 57 years ago.

Mrs. Duckett retired from Battelle NW after 19 years as a data entry operator. After many years living in Richland, Wash., she and her husband retired to Minden.

She is survived by her husband; daughter Karen (Ron) Frey; granddaughters Mackenzie and Alexandra Frey of Centennial Colo.; sisters Alma Walsh and Alvira Adams of Carson City; brothers Jim Bossert of McLaughlin, S.D., and Alton Bossert of West Covina, Calif.; former brother-in-law Duane Schupbach along with several nieces and nephews.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with final arrangments.
