A monthlong investigation into narcotic trafficking and distribution in Mono County wrapped up this week with the arrest to two San Diego men in Bishop, Calif.

The investigation began a month ago when Gabriel Adams, 30, was arrested in Mammoth Lakes for possession of a controlled substance.

As part of the ongoing investigation, on Wednesday Mono Narcotic Enforcement Team members served a search warrant assisted by the Bishop Police Department in stopping Adams while he was driving to his Mono County court appearance on the previous arrest.

As a result of the search warrant, agents recovered over 200 Ecstasy pills, approximately an ounce of cocaine, 40 milliliters of ketamine liquid, psilocybin mushrooms, and over 200 various types of controlled prescription medications.

Adams and his passenger, Dale Eblacas, 31, were arrested and taken to the Inyo County Jail charged with possession for sale and transportation of cocaine, possession for sale of a controlled substance, and possession for sale and transportation of Ketamine.
