The Coleville Wolves football team crushed the visiting Wells Leopards 80-0 to improve to 6-0 for the season.

Coleville's first team offense kept a four-game streak alive, scoring on every possession to push the halftime score to 64-0.

Quarterback Jason Peters was 10-for-15 for 230 yards and three touchdowns.

Peters also rushed two touchdowns ending with 47 yards on the ground.

Tight end Jay Clark led the Wolf receivers with 68 yards on two receptions including a 56-yard touchdown reception.

Little brother Cody Clark had three receptions for 54 yards and scored on a 43-yard reception.

Tailback Buh Hamilton caught two passes for 67 yards and scored on a 58-yard reception. Hamilton also scored two rushing touchdowns on runs of 27 and 15 yards.

Although Wells managed to keep Emmi Sandoval from catching a touchdown pass, Sandoval still managed to find the endzone twice scoring on a 60-yard punt return and a seven-yard run. Sandoval ended the day with three receptions for 41 yards.

Sophomore quarterback Cody Clark threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Kambel Kenaston.

For a second week in a row Coleville's defense put on the best performance of the game shutting out Wells and holding the Leopards to minus 11 yards of total offense. Defensively Coleville was led by Mat Randall with three solos, two assists, and two sacks, Steven Koelling with two solos and six assists, and Lucas Vasquez with two solos and five assists.

Jason Peters and Buh Hamilton each had a pass interception. Tyler Summers with one solo and seven assists and Austin Byers also played very well defensively.

"Our defense and our special teams are playing extremely well. The defense continues to anticipate, attack, and tackle better than any Coleville team since 1992," Coleville coach Will Sandy said. "I am also very happy with the play of the offensive line led by seniors Steven Koelling and Patrick Burgan. You can't put up the kind of points that we are without the boys up front doing an outstanding job."

Coleville hosts Pyramid Lake on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
