The Douglas volleyball team used a 19-3 run through the middle of game two to power ahead to a 25-22, 25-13, 25-18 win over Fallon in Minden Thursday.
Jourdan Burke had 14 kills, Brenna White had nine, and Shannon Dugan and Emily Garcia each had seven to lead the attack for Douglas.
White and Burke each had six blocks and Keely Latham and Garcia each had five.
Mysta Townsell had 15 digs to lead the defense and Jackie Harper had 25 assists.
The Tigers built a 20-12 lead in game one before Fallon put together a 10-4 run highlighted by kills from Kenyah Brown, Khalliah Brown, Caitlynn Marsh and an ace from Alyssa Meihack.
Douglas regrouped to take the game with a kill from Burke.
Fallon jumped out to a 6-2 lead in game two before Douglas went on its decisive run, which included smaller stretches of 7-0, 7-0 and 6-0, to take control of momentum in the match.
Douglas improved to 23-4 overall and 6-2 in Sierra League play.
