The Douglas County High School class of 1947 celebrate the birthdays of nine class members who turned 80 this year with a dinner at Barone & Reed's Food Co. on Sept. 19. Spouses and friends also attending were Joanne Lange, Kathy Hussman, Don Thran, Bud and Rae Neller, Verne Neller, Vicki Peterson, E-Ann Logan, Bud and Cecile Brown, Gordon Fricke and Roger Thacher. Class members continue their lifelong friendship by meeting each month for lunch.
