Radar shows today's rain showers are still in California and are on a course to miss us here in Carson Valley. We might see a little bit after 11 a.m., but the bulk of the storm looks like it will pass north of us, if it doesn't get shredded going over the mountains. Today's forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of scattered showers with a high temperature of 59 degrees. Winds will be blowing 15 mph with gusts of up to 25 mph.
Ryan D. Hiltz, 25, who got to the back door of the courthouse before failing to appear for a second time in a row on charges of running up charges on stolen gas cards. Hiltz will get some help showing up in court this morning from the sheriff's office.
I'm taking a day off today, so I won't be in the office. If you need help, contact Sharlene at ext. 210. I'll be back in on Tuesday.
