EDITOR:
To Linda Monohan: Thank you so much for sharing your life and information over these many years with the residents of the Carson Valley. You have allowed us to ride along with you in that motorcycle sidecar on many adventurous trips. I learned gardening skills and felt I was right there with you as you nurtured your orchard, garden and the critters in Fish Springs. I have enjoyed you, your family and getting to know you more personally through your articles.
You have served our Valley well over 25 years as secretary at Gardnerville Elementary, volunteer firefighter at Fish Springs and writer, spokeswoman for Fish Springs. You have shared your most exciting life as your family has grown and multiplied. I'm sure there are lots of friends in the Valley you have yet to meet. I enjoy our friendship as our lives cross paths over the years.
I have come to know you as a wonderful, devoted and gutsy lady, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Thanks again for your dedication to so many and your articles will be sorely missed.
I wish you many personal joyous years with Norbert, your daughters, grandchildren, family and friends.
