Traffic is snarled on Interstate 80 west of Reno after a sport utility vehicle towing a trailer rolled over just before noon today.

Westbound vehicles are backed up four miles, back to Keystone, but with only one lane open.

It will be another hour before the westbound lanes are clear, according to Trooper Chuck Allen.

The accident happened when a 1996 Suburban westbound on the freeway began to fishtail.

The Suburban and the trailer rolled over blocking both westbound travel lanes.

"The trailer literally came apart spilling all of its interior contents onto the freeway," Allen said. "The driver and his two female passengers were all wearing seatbelts."

Only one person was injured in the accident. She was treated at the scene. One lane of the freeway is open but it will be 3 p.m. before the freeway is completely clear.
