They are also scheduled to hear reports on Minden Elementary, on summer school and from Sheriff Ron Pierini on Drug Awareness Resistance Education. The board meets 3:30 p.m. at Douglas High School media center.

The Ranch at Gardnerville is seeking to modify its development schedule so that the last phase won't be recorded until 2027. Also on the agenda is a request by Hamdogs for non-restricted gaming use. Planning commissioners meet at 1 p.m. in the Douglas County Administrative Building, 1616 Eighth St.
