The cost of $25 will include a special wine glass for you, as well as appetizers to enjoy, provided by various restaurants in our area. The proceeds will be used to fund a scholarship for the visual and performing arts in the communities of Topaz, Coleville, Walker, and Bridgeport.

Coleville football

The high school's football team just keeps on rolling. They have defeated their first three opponents by a total score of 214 to 32. That is awesome. Their next home game will be Saturday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. against Virginia City, who always has a good team. It will also be their first league game of the year, so let's get out and root for them.

If you have followed the football team's performances through the last few years, you will know that Jason Peters is an excellent player, on both offense and defense. It was recently announced that he is the state's all-time leader in career and season passing records for completions, touchdowns and total yardage. Congratulations, Jason - we're very proud of you.
