Girls' Soccer: Lady Tigers use late flurry to push past Damonte Ranch

The Douglas High School girls' soccer team used a late run in the final 20 minutes to push past Damonte Ranch 4-2 in Reno Tuesday evening.

Katie Dry scored a pair of goals and had an assist to lead the Tigers.

Holly Downer and CJ Baumgartner each had goals as well, and Shannon Prinz had an assist.

Brianna Randall also recorded 12 saves in the game.

Damonte Ranch struck first in the 18th minute, but Dry scored shortly thereafter to tie the game.

Damonte added a late goal after Douglas had put the game out of reach with three goals after the 60th minute.

Douglas improved to 8-1 overall and 1-1 in Sierra League play with the win.
