Effective Oct. 7 the Washoe Tribe Police Department Dispatch number will be changing to (775)783-7233 instead of the current (775) 782-9087. This change is being made by the Douglas County Communications Department. There will be a temporary recording (for three months) on the old lines advising the caller of the number change.
