Entertainment and football at CVI

M8trix continues in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday and Jeff & Ileia play Sept. 29 - Oct. 4. Monday Night Football plays in the Cabaret Lounge on Mondays.

M8trix performs the best of Motown, R&B, pop and jazz. The band is led by vocalist Stephanya, who is joined by guitarist David Council, Eric "EQ" Young on bass, drummer Adam Lipsky and James "Jimi" McKinney on keyboards.

The father/daughter team of Jeff & Ileia play music ranging from country and oldies to pop chart toppers. They have opened for David Frizzell, Jim Owen and Rose Maddox, and have collectively toured the Northwest for more than 30 years.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and on the half-hour starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Monday Night Football plays in the Cabaret Lounge on Mondays with big-screen action, food and beer specials and prize drawings.

The CVI Cafe Cabaret is open 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sundays and 5 p.m. until the end of the third quarter on Mondays.

Carson Valley Community Theatre presents "Moon Over Buffalo" beginning Oct. 9 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9, 10 and 16, 17. Sunday matinees are 2 p.m. Oct. 11 and 18.
